What Citador Does
Citador extracts legal citations from documents you upload and verifies them against public court records. It's a tool to help catch citation errors — not a replacement for thorough legal research.
This Is Not Legal Advice
Citador is not a law firm. The verification results are automated and may contain errors. Court databases are incomplete. Citation formats vary. Always independently verify citations before relying on them in legal proceedings.
Your Documents
You own your documents. By uploading them, you give us permission to process and analyze them for citation verification. Document text is sent to AI providers for analysis but is not stored by them after processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Your Account
Keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Don't use the service for anything illegal or to upload malicious files.
No Guarantees
The service is provided as-is. We don't guarantee accuracy, uptime, or that it will catch every citation error. Citation databases may be incomplete or outdated. Use your judgment.
